Over this weekend I watched the Macworld main presentation by Steve Jobs the CEO of Apple. Being an early adopter I've used a mac for a few years now and have been watching with much interest how the company is slowly repositioning itself as a lifestyle technology company rather than just a supplier of nifty computers and mp3 players. Realising some years back that the biggest single consumer electronics product was a mobile phone, apple is now entering this market with some style I hasten to add.
In order to bypass potential media leaks that might happen during the FCC approval process, apple chose to launch iPhone a good six months before it's available to the consumer and my goodness devoting over 70% of the main presentation time to this product is an indication of what apple expect to happen in it's takeup once the product is launced.

Sometimes I spend an hour or two navigating around the net to find the latest technology which helps drive traffic to a website or find the latest great idea to implement. I've found one recently which is quite remarkable and profoundly simple.
If you scroll down, on the right hand side of my blog, you'll see the 'Mind Map' section, which is representation from my delicious account of the type of bookmarks I have made from the internet, whether that be articles or papers I've read, or links to other websites or results from searches on google.
Delicious allows you to link any kind of bookmark to word 'tags' like these that allow people then to click on the tag and see the list of items and websites you have been looking at. The more articles there and number of times each tag has been clicked on determines the side of font that word has within your tag list.
